Is my recording uploaded to your servers?
No. Your audio is decoded and processed with the Web Audio API entirely inside your browser. Nothing is ever uploaded — ideal for unreleased episodes and private voice memos.
What does "trim silence" actually remove?
It cuts quiet sections from the very start and end of the recording (below the threshold you set, default −40 dB). It does not remove pauses in the middle of speech — that stays a Pro feature.
Why is the export WAV and not MP3?
WAV is lossless and can be encoded directly in the browser with no extra libraries. MP3 export is planned for Audio Cleaner Pro.
